Lesson 5: Message Thousands of Opt-In Opportunity Seekers EVERYDAY
<<<In lesson 4, I shared with you the best safelists I have found on which to begin your advertising efforts. I also showed you how to configure and optimize your safelist account settings to ensure you receive all your member emails within your on-site member email inbox vice to your personal email inbox, for simplicity and email management.
At this point, you should have accounts with six of the best safelist networks I have found to date. You are now able to earn hundreds of email credits with each network within minutes for free.
Now that you have advertising credits to spend, it’s time to use your safelist accounts to advertise your business. The primary capability safelist accounts provide your business is guaranteed views to your web property or offer every time you send daily email or post other advertisement types on the safelist networks. This lesson will guide you in exactly how to do this, every day!
Sending Daily Safelist Emails
The primary tool safelists provide your business is the capability to send daily emails to hundreds (and in some cases, thousands) of opt-in members who are typically seeking opportunities such as yours to join. As you noticed when you joined each of the safelists, every new member must agree to receive daily emails from other members, such as you. This is the keystone concept behind why it is called a safelist. Members “know” they will be receiving your emails, “like” the fact that this is the agreement, and “trust” you will only contact them with a legitimate offer. As mentioned in earlier lessons, the “know”, “like”, and “trust” triad is the basis of getting introduced to people who are intrinsically willing to work with you.
The KEY ACTION to success with this system is daily consistency; to make this work, you must commit to sending the maximum number of emails possible on all safelists every day. This results in the largest broadcast of your business’ message possible; as always, your daily action is integral to your success.
Email Advertising Copy, Also Known As “Email Swipes”
One of the best benefits of being a new member of the World Branch GDI Team is you need not worry about writing your own emails to attract people to your business. Team leaders are responsible for testing and providing effective email message subject lines and body content known to attract new members to our team. You are always encouraged to write and test ideas of email ad copy you think might work but, if writing emails is not your thing, don’t worry. We do that work for you.
If you are a member of the World Branch GDI Team, you can always access our most current, prewritten email swipes on the World Branch GDI Team blog on our Email Swipes archive page.
Personalizing Emails for the Recipient
As a general rule, ALL advertisements are more effective when they are personalized. If you can begin an email with the recipient’s first name or other personally identifying information, the recipient is several times more likely to pay greater attention to your message over another that doesn’t include their name. Before I explain exactly how to set up and send daily emails from your safelist accounts, I must explain a specific tool that you will see integrated into the email swipes we provide the team.
If you view my prewritten email subject lines and body copy on our team’s Email Swipes archive page, you will notice the some of our subject lines and emails include the #firstname# tag. This is a general variable marker flag that instructs a safelist to automatically replace the variable marker flag with the recipient’s first name (from their internal databases) when you send your emails. In other words, if you add the [firstname] variable marker flag in your safelist emails, the safelist will automatically replace the variable marker flag with the recipient’s first name. Most every safelist employs this tool to allow you to personalize messages sent to safelist members.
***Note***
You likely noticed I used the syntax both of #firstname# and [firstname] in the former paragraph. I did that intentionally. The syntax of variable marker flags across safelist networks are not universal. Most every safelist has a different format for their #firstname# variable marker flag. If you want to prepare and send personalized emails, you must change #firstname# to match the format of the safelist you are using to send email. Some variations of this tag you will find are [firstname], #firstname#, [fname], etc. Commonly, instructions found on the ‘Send Email’ page include the syntax for the variable marker flag appropriate for that specific safelist. Make sure you have the appropriate format before sending your daily emails.
Action Step: Send Emails via Your Safelist Accounts
Sending emails via your safelist accounts is quite easy. The safelist accounts I recommended in lesson three ensure you have a simple and familiar format onto which to send your emails daily. You will find this familiarity across the safelist networks as you start sending your daily emails:
- Log into any one of your safelist accounts
- Once you have reached your member’s area, click on the “Send Email Ad” section found in the navigation menu.

3. This leads you to a form that allows you to email all current active members of the safelist every 24 hours. Your goal is to send your email message to the maximum number of members every 24-hour period for the greatest results. Complete the form with your email subject line, email body, and the number of members to which you want (maximum number to which you are allowed) to send your email message.

4. Each of the safelists I recommend provide a mailing history tool integrated within their platforms to make this action step of sending daily emails easier than having to “cut and paste” your emails daily from a file on your computer. This tool will simplify your efforts when sending future iterations of your email. Check the “save to mailing history” box to save an email you expect to send in future iterations. When you return in following days to send email to safelist members, simply select the email subject line you want to resend from the “Previous emails” drop-down box. This option allows you to load the exact email subject line and body content quickly and easily you sent when you checked the box for future iterations of sending emails to safelist members.

Remember: If you are member of the World Branch GDI Team, I provide an archive of pre-written emails that have been proven to get positive results when sent daily on the safelists. You can access the email swipe archive on the World Branch GDI Team blog.
